Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word which describes a system of hands-on healing. The system was rediscovered in the late 19th century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui. Rei means "Spirit or Spiritual" and ki is "the Universal life energy force".

In Reiki, the healing energy is allowed to flow through us and we act as a conduit through which this energy is passed on to another individual. It is the Spiritual-Consciousness called Rei that guides the energy called Ki.

Reiki is defined as spiritually guided life energy force.

Reiki is about working with the universal life energy force. You are agreeing to become a channel for pure energy. Reiki will have an extraordinary effect on your life. You will feel better in yourself.
