Reiki Meditation

Sit down and make yourself comfortable, spine straight. Close your eyes.

Perform Gassho and concentrate on your two middle fingers. As thoughts come into your mind, as they surely will, just let them go and return to where your two middle fingers meet. Try to forget everything else. Draw a master or power symbol and say the mantras 3 times. Level 1's visualise White Light.

Let your hand slowly drop to your sides. Slowly lift your hands from the sides, keeping your arms straight; slowly breathe in, till your hands are above your head.

Rotate your palms up, contact the universe.

Feel the Reiki energy pour in and surround you.

Move your hands down slowly, make a full circle. Breathe out. Gassho in front of your face, feel the energy vibrate in between your hands.

Raise your hands still in Gassho to your third eye. Breathe naturally; imagine you are breathing through your hands.

Keep this breathing for a while and relax.

Slowly lift your left hand straight up in the air, palm up, and put your right hand on your lap with palm up.

The energy will come in through your raised hand and go out through the hand on your lap

Hold this for a few minutes. Then reverse hands. Hold this for a few minutes.

Now put both hands down on your lap.

Feel Reiki energy streaming in through your crown and out through your whole body, for as long as you like. Imagine Reiki energy going out through your legs and feet deep into the earth.

End the meditation with Gassho.
