Chakras are a common concept in several disciplines of alternative medicine. A chakra is a centre of energy which has several functions. In addition to being representative of a particular organ or group of organs, a chakra also controls our being on different levels. They will be balanced and re-aligned at each treatment.

Location: The perineum, the point between the anus and the sex organs

Lymph system, skeleton system, the prostate gland in men, the sacral plexus, the bladder and elimination system, and the lower extremities. Also the nose, since it is the organ of the sense of smell, and associated with survival.
